Servings Rice Water 2 1 cup 1 cup 4 2 cups 2 cups 6 3 cups 3 cups

  1. Add water and rice to a saucepan. Add oil if desired.
  2. Boil water, reduce heat to medium, cover and simmer 10 minutes or until water is absorbed.
  3. Remove rice from heat. Fluff with a fork before serving.

  1. Place water and rice in a microwave-safe bowl. Add oil if desired. Cover. Microwave on HIGH.
  2. Wait 5 minutes or until water is absorbed, then fluff with a fork.
  3. Microwave ovens vary. Cooking times are approximate.
